It’s been a weird few years for the #MetLifeTakeover. First in 2023 we had a Black Friday game, which actually ended up working out really well for some people and we had a great turnout. Then in 2024 we didn’t even technically have a game because the #MetLifeTakeover was the last week of the season in January 2025. It was a freezing flex schedule game which made planning nearly impossible and then last year the team fell apart early, the Jets charged us way too much for tickets and of course it was another late season freezing cold game. We were praying for a fall, Sunday 1pm game and man we finally got it!

Not only is the game a 1pm Sunday game in October this year, but the Jets dramatically lowered ticket prices and so we are able to sell you guys tickets at the early bird price of just $70. We also kept our tailgate prices the same and even lowered the bus tickets from our bar Slattery’s by $5. We have a bunch of stuff planned this year including a new merch drop, and it really should be one of the best Takeover’s in years and I hope you guys can join us.

There is this idea that the Dolphins are going to be terrible this year, given that we have so much dead cap, and that we were be battling the Jets for the #1 draft pick and that this is some sort of Arch Manning Bowl. If that gives you a reason to attend this year, so be it but I think we are going to surprise some people this season. Am I predicting a playoff run? Absolutely not, but I am excited to watch new players develop under a new coach and GM and see if we have something in Malik Willis. If nothing else I know we are going to be better than the Jets and I cannot wait for October 25th.
